West Bengal Madhyamik and HS Exams 2021 Evaluation Criteria Announced, Result will be Declared by July-End 2021
18th June 2021 on press meet west bengal secondary education and west bengal highier secondary education council announced the process about Madhyamik and HS exam 2021. They pointed out that how to evaluate both the exam.
West Bengal Madhaymik Exam 2021 Evaluation Criteria :
West Bengal Secondary board put a decision that in the case of secondary exam 2021, the Evaluation and assessment will be in 50-50 formula base. While 50% marks will be awarded on the basis of marks scored in class 9 annual exams, the remaining 50% will be derived from class 10 internal assessment marks scored during the academic year. In other words, this assessment will be based on the results obtained in the final examination of the ninth class and the result obtained in the test of the tenth class. If someone is dissatisfied with the assessment, they can sit for the test if the situation is normal.In the case of higher secondary, it has been said that in the four subjects which have the highest marks in the medium of 2019, it is 40 per cent on the highest marks obtained and in 2020, it is 60 per cent on the marks obtained in the annual examination (theory) of class XI.This formula will evaluate the high school. If the students are not satisfied with the assessment in both secondary and higher secondary, the written test will be taken if the situation is normal. However, in that case, the number obtained in the written test will be considered final. The assessment number will not be effective in that case.

On 7th June, the West Bengal government cancelled the Madhyamik and HS board examinations due to COVID-19. Since then, students were eagerly waiting for the West Bengal Board result 2021 evaluation criteria. The CM had directed the education department to decide on the evaluation process keeping in mind the possible mental stress and the future of the examinees.
07th June 2021 Mamata Banerjee said “Thank you very much for sending us your valuable opinions and suggestions. GoWB thus arrives at the decision of cancelling Madhyamik/Uchhamadhyamik examinations for 2021. We will work out the best possible way to secure the future of our children.”
As per the latest update on 6th June 2021 , the West Bengal State Government has made a decision on West Bengal Board Exam 2021 for Madhyamik and HS Exam. According to report the Hon. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee share his decision on twitter regarding the West Bengal Board exam.
The West Bengal state government was supposed to announce the secondary schedule last Wednesday that is 2nd June 2021. But due this pandemic situation the govt. yet to published the schedule. Apart from this govt. has decided to set a committee give a solution of Madhyamik and HS board exam. The committee would decide the following points:
- Whether there should be secondary and higher secondary examinations
- Even if the Examination conducted , then how the test will be taken
- How to evaluate if Examination is not conducted.
On 6th June 2021 Mamata Banerjee official made a Tweet Sharing the notice from School Education Department. She Said on Twitter ,”Our children’s future is my greatest priority. To this regard, we have formed an expert committee to decide over holding the Class 10th & 12th board exams in 2021. We are also inviting views & opinion from parents, general public, sector experts, civil society & students.”
The Chief Minister also mentioned ” I request each one of you to send us your feedback on the issue by e-mailing us on following addresses by June 7th, 2021, 2 PM.”
