• Financial Allocation: The program showcases a significant budgetary allocation of Rs 13,000 crore, dedicated to the enhancement of rural vocations. • Certification : Artisans and craftsmen will attain acknowledgment by receiving the PM Vishwakarma certificate and an accompanying ID card, which collectively enhance their professional identity and standing.
• Tools and Equipment: Participants have the opportunity to avail financial assistance of up to ₹15,000, facilitating the acquisition of modern tools that significantly elevate their efficiency and productivity levels.

The eligibility criteria for the PMVKS are designed to identify and reward skilled individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the field of skill development and entrepreneurship in India, such as:

• Citizenship: The scheme is open to all Indian citizens
• Completion Of a Skill Development Program: To avail the befit candidate should have completed the Skill Development course.
• No Age Limit: There is no age restriction specified for applying to the scheme.
